Regular tiers lock to islands: Free lure and Hot Dog at Lighthouse and Forest, Beginner Lure at Forest, Standard Lure at Desert, Professional Lure at Rocks, Scientific Lure at Volcano. Boss baits are quest objects — Empty Beer Can, Modified Leech, Carrot, Tuna, Fish Bucket, Bowhead Whale — plus the named Beginner, Standard, Professional, and Scientific boss lures. Island 6 has no regular bait column; Patch 1.0.11 moved roulette there.
Sixteen baits on six columns
Peg the island first, then the bait. A Lighthouse Hot Dog query is Rock Crab and Lobster. Free lure on the same dock is Rock Crab and Shrimp. Forest mixes Free lure, Hot Dog, and Beginner Lure across Piranha, Mackerel, Gar, Pike, Goldfish, Cod, Perch, and Triggerfish. Desert is Standard Lure. Rocks is Professional Lure. Volcano is Scientific Lure.
Boss baits are not interchangeable with regular tiers. Empty Beer Can does not catch lighthouse regulars. Tuna as bait is the Rocks Albatross hunt, not the Professional Lure Tuna fight. Fish Bucket and Bowhead Whale are volcano boss baits in sequence. Do not vendor them under the 1.0.11 hold-once rule if the next peg is still empty.
Regular lure names stay in one column per island after Forest. Lighthouse and Forest share Free lure and Hot Dog. Forest then adds Beginner Lure. Desert is Standard Lure only. Rocks is Professional Lure only. Volcano is Scientific Lure only. Island 6 still has no regular lure peg; the 1.0.11 roulette table is the whole column.
Quest baits are the other eight names: Empty Beer Can, Modified Leech, Carrot, Tuna, Fish Bucket, Bowhead Whale, plus the four boss-lure tiers. A Hot Dog on Lighthouse is Rock Crab and Lobster; Free lure on that dock is Rock Crab and Shrimp. Spend Tuna, Fish Bucket, or Bowhead Whale on a vendor only after the next boss peg is already hung — the 1.0.11 hold-once rule is the last check before that sale.
Beginner Lure on Forest is the step after Hot Dog for Gar, Pike, Goldfish, Cod, Perch, and Triggerfish while Piranha still wants the crab rod. Standard Lure covers the whole Desert regular column. Professional Lure covers Rocks regulars including the Tuna fight that is not the Tuna bait. Scientific Lure covers Volcano regulars before Fish Bucket and Bowhead Whale start the last two boss hunts.
