Boss baits are quest objects — Empty Beer Can, Modified Leech, Carrot, Tuna, Fish Bucket, Bowhead Whale — plus the named Beginner, Standard, Professional, and Scientific boss lures. Island 6 has no regular bait column; Patch 1.0.11 moved roulette there.
Sixteen baits on six columns
Peg the island first, then the bait. A Lighthouse Hot Dog query is Rock Crab and Lobster. Free lure on the same dock is Rock Crab and Shrimp. Forest mixes Free lure, Hot Dog, and Beginner Lure across Piranha, Mackerel, Gar, Pike, Goldfish, Cod, Perch, and Triggerfish. Desert is Standard Lure. Rocks is Professional Lure. Volcano is Scientific Lure.
Boss baits are not interchangeable with regular tiers. Empty Beer Can does not catch lighthouse regulars. Tuna as bait is the Rocks Albatross hunt, not the Professional Lure Tuna fight. Fish Bucket and Bowhead Whale are volcano boss baits in sequence. Do not vendor them under the 1.0.11 hold-once rule if the next peg is still empty.
